Specialist sexual violence services support adult and child victim-survivors of all genders with a continuum of services across the lifespan.
Their work spans all four pillars of the National Plan including response, recovery, early intervention and prevention.
What do specialist sexual violence services provide?
- Crisis care and support to access police, medical and forensic services. 
- Healing and recovery through individual counselling and support groups. 
- Legal advocacy and court support. 
- Training for frontline and allied health workers in responding to disclosures. 
- Support to schools to provide Consent and Respectful Relationships Education. 
How do we deliver our services?
- Face-to-face individual and group sessions. 
- Online counselling sessions. 
- 24-hour crisis support and telephone counselling. 
- Counselling outposts and partnerships with other services. 
Who can access our services?
- Adults, adolescents and child victim-survivors of recent or historical sexual assault. 
- Children and adolescents who exhibit harmful sexual behaviours. 
- Non-offending family, caregivers and support people.
